Marcia Edwards has diverse Nursing experience in the United States, England, Scotland, and the Caribbean. Having received her initial nursing training in England, she traveled gaining experience in multiple areas of general medical and surgical nursing, public health nursing, clinical research, nursing education, and university administration. In the Nursing profession, she also practiced as a Nurse Midwife and participated extensively in teaching student nurse midwives, student nurse practitioners, and medical students on obstetric clinical rotation. During her time in Nursing Education as a faculty member for a number of years, she led the College of Nursing and Health Administration as the Department Chair of Nursing, before advancing her Nursing platform. While practicing, teaching, and modeling a holistic approach to care, Marcia Edwards also successfully raised two adult sons of achievement who understand giving back to their communities just as their mother always exemplified. Today, with a lifetime of public service, she still finds time for cooking and Shakespeare performances as well as her musical hobbies of playing the guitar, singing, and supporting her local church. Marcia Edwards’ life span of service and work have given her the experience to authenticate her advice, and her numerous endorsements all affirm her wise counsel.
